Helmet-Ready for the Spiritual Battle
Share
Ever feel like you're walking into a war zone every morning? Not the kind with tanks and bombs, but a war against the invisible forces that try to steal your joy, your peace, and your purpose.
This morning, as I was getting my kids ready for church (a regular Sunday routine), something felt different. It was like the Holy Spirit was preparing us for battle, because we are in the birthing season of a new chapter in our lives. My 5-year-old daughter came running out, shouting, "I'm ready!" She was carrying her blanket and wearing a helmet.
I giggled to myself, but then I smiled. She was ready for battle! Just like us, we're all in this fight against the enemy every day. We put on the armor of God, but sometimes, we need a little reminder to be ready.
My daughter's helmet was probably meant for riding her bike, but she was clearly ready to face any challenge head-on. And that's the attitude we need to have. We need to be ready for the spiritual battles that come our way. We need to pray for protection and stand strong in the faith.
Don't let the enemy take your flame away. Find out more about the armor of God and how to prepare for this spiritual battle in my new E-Book "The Chainbreaker," coming soon on WithHimCo.shop.
Let's be helmet-ready and take on the day, knowing that we have the strength of God on our side!
