Tonight I Cried: A Raw and Honest Moment

Tonight I Cried: A Raw and Honest Moment

Tonight, I cried. I found myself hiding from my kids, stealing those precious 30 seconds for a meltdown that was long overdue. Life with four kids, a full-time job, and school can be overwhelming. Add in the unique behaviors of one child that none of the others understand, the extra sparkle that sets her apart—it’s exhausting.

Some days, it feels like I'm barely holding it all together. There’s a mess everywhere; my house looks “lived in” no matter how much we clean. The never-ending to-do lists and the constant demand for attention and care can make even the strongest of us feel fragile.

But in those fleeting moments of vulnerability, there’s a hidden strength. We push through, we wipe our tears, and we face the chaos with renewed determination. Because that’s what moms do. We love fiercely, we give endlessly, and we find the beauty in the little moments of joy amidst the whirlwind.

God chose me. God specifically chose me to raise my children. With all the challenges and the blessings, I am the mother they need.

To all the moms out there feeling the weight of the world, know that you are not alone. Your struggles, your tears, and your triumphs are valid. Embrace the imperfections, cherish the sparkle, and remember that it's okay to cry. Together, we can navigate this beautiful, messy journey of motherhood.
